MEMBERSHIP, REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

How do I sign up to SensinO?
Signing up to SensinO couldn’t be easier! To start, click SIGN UP at the top right of the screen. Enter your name, last name, email address, and mobile phone number in the relevant fields and create a password. Read and accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy. Enter the verification code sent to your mobile phone. And that’s all you have to do! The registration process is complete. In order to make a bid, you just need to share your credit card and billing information. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged any fees unless you win the auction! You can now place bids and start following any activities that you find interesting.

Why do you need my credit card and billing details?
We only want real people to bid on auctions, so we need your credit card information. Besides, in order to fulfill our legal obligations, we must send invoices made out to the winner or his or her company. All this information just needs to be entered once.

Will you be debiting any money from my credit card?
To verify your credit card, 1TL will be debited from your credit card during the sign-up process, and you will be refunded the amount. Money is only debited from your credit card to pay for the auctions on which you have placed a bid and won. We never charge subscription, commission, or other similar kinds of fees.

Why do you need to verify my credit card? Why do you debit 1TL from my card and then refund it?
We only want real people to bid on auctions, so your credit card information allows us to check whether the credit card is valid and active or not.

Is a pre-authorization taken from my Credit Card?

When a bid is offered, we block the amount corresponding to 10% of the offered value in the credit card through pre-authorization. For example, say 1,000 TL is offered for an event. We take pre-authorization from the credit card for 100 TL. If another person offers a bid higher than the previously highest bid, the pre-authorization is cancelled immediately. If you win the event, the pre-authorization for 10% is cancelled and the offer you made is withdrawn from your credit card.

Where can I find the CVV code? What is the CVV code?
For Visa and Mastercard users:
 Look at the back of your card where the signature box is. You will see the full 16-digit credit card number or the three-digit CVV code after the last four digits. This code is the credit card’s CVV number/Card Security Code.
For American Express users: You will see a four-digit code just above and to the right of the main credit card number (on the front of your card).
 This code is the credit card’s CVV number/Card Security Code.

Will my personal information and credit card details be safe?
The protection of personal information is very important to us and it is also a legal obligation. We never keep credit card information on our site. Instead, all card details are safely stored in Asseco SEE Technology’s PCI DSS certified environment. 

How do I update my credit card information? Can I delete unused or expired credit cards from the system? Can I add a new credit card?
Yes! To update your card information, first log into SensinO, then click on your user name in the upper right corner and go to the MY ACCOUNT page. Under My Credit Cards, you can view your registered credit cards, and add or delete cards.

What happens if the limit has been reached on my credit card?
If the limit has been reached on your credit card, we will debit your card as far as your credit balance allows it and you will be expected to transfer the remaining amount to the specified bank account on the next business day. Our customer advisers will be more than happy to guide you through the process.

What if I cannot make a payment on the next business day?
We are sorry! If you fail to send us the full amount on the next business day, you will lose your position as the winner and it will pass on to the second highest bidder. You will be refunded the said amount by SensinO if your credit card has already been debited.

Will you share my personal information with third parties?
We do not share any of your personal information with third parties.

 

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

I’ve forgotten my password. How can I access my account?
Click on I’ve Forgotten My Password at the top right corner of the LOGIN page. The new password will be sent to the specified email address.

How can I change my password?
Once you have logged into SensinO, go to the MY ACCOUNT page by clicking on your username in the upper right corner. You can change your password by clicking on Change My Password under the tab Password Update. Don’t forget that you can easily contact us on the CONTACT page if you have any problems!

 

BIDDING AND MONITORING

I do not live in Turkey. Can I bid in auctions?
Yes, you can bid from anywhere in the world! In the Conditions section on the page where the activity you wish to join is displayed, the place and time of the event are clearly indicated. You should carefully read the conditions and explanations before placing a bid.

Is Turkish Lira the only accepted currency in the auctions?
At SensinO, all transactions are displayed in Turkish Lira on the basis of which all services are charged, unless otherwise stated.

Can I gift an activity to a friend?
Absolutely! Put a smile on a friend’s face by giving him or her a unique experience through our range of events. However, before you decide, please carefully review the terms of the event. For example, some events may not be suitable for children.

Can children bid at auctions?
We are sorry! All SensinO members must be 18 or older. On the other hand, parents can bid on behalf of their children for appropriate events and offer it to them as a present if they win. 

Can I undo a bid I’ve placed?
Unfortunately no! At SensinO we are extremely sensitive in this regard. All bids submitted through our site and our mobile app are legally binding. If you have placed the highest bid at the end of the specified period and have won the auction, then it means you have purchased that activity. For this reason, we ask you to think carefully before making an offer!

If another user outbids me on an item, will I be informed about it?
Yes. The moment another user outbids you for an event, an email will be sent to your email account and a notification will be sent on your mobile app. We recommend that you add the email address noreply@sensino.com to your list of trusted senders so that important alerts do not end up in your spam folder.

Why was the auction extended for another 10 minutes after I made a bid?
This happens when a new bid is placed 10 minutes before the end of an auction. Each new bid placed within that period of time will extend the auction for another 10 minutes. This allows other interested bidders to stay in the competition.

How will I know if I have won an auction?
As soon as the auction ends, you will receive an email giving you the good news. Once the bid amount has been debited from your credit card, you will receive a congratulatory e-mail with all the details.

If I win an event, how is it organized?
SensinO customer advisers will contact you to discuss all the details of the event and determine the event date if necessary.

Can I follow the events I am interested in?
Of course! You can follow the events you are interested in by clicking on the FOLLOW button displayed on the page of each activity.
